So, as advertised, this iron comes up to temperature very quickly, and the “steam shot” button creates as much steam as any steamer, though in quick bursts, not consistantly.

That said, this iron is a terrible iron. The water resivoir leaks constantly, no matter how full it is filled. Expect every garment you iron to be spotted with water when you’re done. Water drips from the fill port, the steam holes, and from around the controls as you use it.

Also, though the shots of steam are nice and big, the actual steam generated during ironing is meager and seems to come only when you tip the iron back up to flip your garment. Don’t even think about pressing the steam shot button when ironing, it just shoots jets of water onto your clothes.

The leaking aside, the build quality on this is really pretty good. The cord, plug, and controls are sturdy feeling. Might actually be a good iron if you always used it dry.
