I already own the Conair DPP300 (the red one) and I love it! It is a steam power house and it works great! So, when I saw the DPP143, and thinking that I have a Conair iron and love it, I bought this one. The wattage is the same and it is a bit more like a full size iron in look and shape. I could not believe, in comparison how light weight (in a bad way) and useless it was. The steam sounds like it is struggling to escape, but can’t get out. I would have believed I was holding a toy, if it wasn’t for the electric plug and it did get hot enough cause harm to a child, but not hot enough to iron and steam out wrinkles. Don’t buy this as a toy, I am not suggesting that! This one is going back and I will buy the red one again!
